Baby's Mama arrives tomorrow from Texas!

So my Baby's mama is on her way from Texas to visit us here in Washington for a week with his 17 year old sister! I am so excited...I haven't seen her since we left Texas in May...she is an awesome lady and fun!

Baby and I worked on our "menu" yesterday of the meals we are going to fix while she is here so that we could get the grocery list in order. I am washing the last of the bedding now so we can get the guest bedroom in order tonight and the beds made etc...

Yay! This is gonna be so much fun with her here, he misses her alot he said last night when we were cuddled on the sofa watching tv...family is so important to us both and he misses his father so much and having his mom here will make that a little less painful for him...

So he is on his way home to me now and we are gonna just chill out and I am gonna make some italian beef sandwhiches for dinner...should be delicious as always...then some Discovery Channel HD (Speed of Life) that we recorded last night...a quiet night for us both. He has a short week this week and will have Monday off too..so a four day weekend for him....always awesome to spend time with him...loves him so so much! My heart & soul...

xoxoxo

Proof that today was a GOOD day...

Ok so today was fabulous! My baby worked on Abby (his '68 Buick Skylark) and got the alternator replaced and it works! The battery is charging the way it is supposed to...whooohooo! LOVE my mechanics!!

Do you see the bright shiny silver part? Ya! That is the NEW alternator on a '68 Buick! LOL

BUT....it works!! Abby is BACK 2 LIFE!! Whoohoo!!

We DRANK beer, they worked on cars, they conquered the world in XBox360 and I talked to all my girls on FaceBook...can it really get any better?? :) I am grateful for 1. My life 2. Intelligent men who LOVE to work on cars and know what the HELL they are doing! 3. BEER (to help them focus on working on cars) 4. My girls to keep me occupied while they drink beer and work on cars 5. XBox360 to reward them at the end of the day so they can kill, blow up shit and win (at the loudest VOLUME available on our stereo, which is hooked up to the LCD tv)!! Love it!

13,595 "LOVE MILES"!!

So my Baby and I are getting NEW tattoos TOGETHER!! The new ink will be a compilation of the LOVE MILES that it took for us to finally be together in the same place!! Whoohoo! My miles were 13,595 that I traveled to be with my baby (Portland, OR to Austin TX three separate times, Austin to Chicago, IL driving with my Baby for his 2 weeks of leave when he PCS'd to Fort Lewis from Fort Hood, my flight from Chicago back home to Portland, OR in June *he went fishing for 2 weeks in Wisconsin with is dad*, and my final journey from Portland, Oregon to Tacoma, Washington)! That was alot of miles and time in airports (gotta LOVE O'Hare security! - ummm NOT)!

The funny thing? My baby had a trailer (that we both packed up of his stuff he had to transport to Chicago) that he pulled with his truck to Chicago on that LONG drive (we made it in 18 hours - only stopped for a 1.5 hour NAP - he drove the entire trip! He was a trooper for sure)...he was taking me to the airport the next day for my early 7 a.m. flight out of O'Hare and he stopped suddenly for a red light and his brake line BROKE / blew out! OMG! We had to pull over, he had to call a cab and couldn't do anything but just drive the truck back to his father's house to work ALL day (after driving all day/night to Chicago) to fix it...I got in a cab (with a rushed hug and kiss from him stressed out) and rushed in morning Chicago traffic to the airport hoping I would make my flight through O'Hare security. I MADE it barely! I text him a pic of me as soon as I made it through security and he text me back that he made it home to his father's home without rear-ending anyone and was smiling! Whew! What a trip that one was...but I had the most amazing time and saying "goodbye" to Texas and our friends there was worth the 2 weeks I spent with my baby in Texas! Loved it..

So today when he gets home he gets to figure out what his mileage number is (keep in mind it is all of the miles it took him to finally get to ME)! This includes his trips from Fort Hood to Iraq (including all the stops inbetween like Ireland and Kuwait) and then his R&R to Chicago (again Iraq --> Kuwait etc and then back) and then HOME and then Block Leave and so forth...should be CRAZY miles. I am incorporating our "Love Miles" into my "LOVE" tattoo on my left arm (in our Bulletproof Love pic above) and he is actually getting a large side piece (he doesnt have any back space or arm space for more ink lol) that is going to be a vintage car dashboard and the "odometer" is gonna be our "Love Miles" +1 for all the miles we will add after those miles....I can't wait to find out what our final "Love Miles" number is later today or this weekend....it's gonna be a crazy amount of miles we traveled for LOVE!

I LOVE you Baby!!

A last minute "pep" talk to his soldiers @ his "going away" luncheon that his old unit had for him @ Fort Hood..I went and took pics...

Saying goodbye is HARD!

We "signed" the ceiling @ Bob's Bar in Liberty Hill, Texas 2gether!!

GREAT Friends!

Somewhere in Wisconsin on our way to Chicago!

Fort Leonard Wood!

Almost there! But this traffic!

Crossing the Mississippi River...

Finally in Illinois!!

Sunset in Illinois - 153 miles from Chicago!

My BABY is finally HOME - Chicago! Chi Town!

He amazes me!!

TGIF!

Ok I made it through this week...my Baby's mama comes to visit us next week (she leaves from Texas on Sunday)! Whoohoo! I LOVE his mom, she is an awesome fun lady! Can't wait to see her and his sister...yay!

We are gonna spend the weekend just cuddlin and sleeping in, watching movies, kissing and being "mushy" as he calls it! LOL

I would like to go into Seattle this weekend and do a little sightseeing to determine where we want to take his mom when she is here for a week...just to ensure we know where to park and how to get to the Space Needle and the market...so ya gotta talk him into leaving his BFF the COUCH! Ha ha ha :) We also need to get a futon for the guest bedroom as well..ugh..I HATE shopping for furniture! Will probably just get it @ Ikea and then when we head into Seattle we can stop @ Ikea and pick it up (if we can find it reasonably priced).

So that is our weekend plans...nothing too crazy just alot of time together...yay! My fave...

Had an amazing nite with him last night and I missed him when he left @ 5 a.m. for PT..but he should be home early today since he is finishing up his Master Driver's course...he will now be the Master Driver for his unit! I am so so proud of you Baby! You are awesome!! I love you so so much!...

5 things I am thankful and grateful for - 1. My Baby 2. My nightie I am keeping on today 'til he gets home 3. Fridays 4. Weekends 5. Quality time

Today's Thoughts, Things I am GRATEFUL for and other ramblings...

So I woke up in a really crappy mood...well not crappy really just "BLAH"...I am sure it is PMS working it's magic...but still making me feel really icky. I don't feel like doing anything today, not motivated to move off the sofa. I got my housework done and took a warm vanilla bubble bath, talked to my baby on his lunch and then back to the sofa to be lazy and talk to my girls on Facebook.

I have come to the conclusion that I am ADDICTED to Facebook! I am on it from the time that I wake up in the morning and all day long while I sit looking for a job. Just socializing with my military girlfriends, my support network. I have been thinking alot lately of the 2 weeks coming up that my baby will be gone @ training and then soon thereafter he will be gone for 1 month...it is heavy on my mind lately...I am so NOT ready to be without him yet. It seems like we just got moved into our new home and finally are in the same place and then everything changes again...grrr...

Don't get me wrong, I understand I can do nothing about it, but that doesn't mean that I am ready for it all yet. I just got him finally! After 10 months of us being separated from each other it feels so damn good to finally have him walk through the door at the end of the day when he gets off work instead of that phone call I used to get while he drove home to his mom's house in Texas! I waited so so long to finally be together....that was the LONGEST wait EVER!

So here I sit, pouty, depressed, blah and just plain ICKY today! I wish this feeling would go away! I took midol complete and still nothing...

Maybe I need to get out of this house? I havent been out in a few days...so maybe that is the problem...not sure...ok I am off...back over to chat with my girls on Facebook...will check in later Bloggie...ciao for now...Kimber signing OUT!

Oh! P.S. I am thankful for 1. Midol Complete 2. Soft sofa cushions 3. Warm vanilla bubble baths 4. My baby's hugs & kisses later 2day 5. My sons!

Watch this video...so so important!
